Before we look at safety at Cracker Barrel’s, let’s dispel a rumor: Cracker Barrel has NOT changed its policy of allowing RVers to overnight if allowed by local laws and ordinances.

Across the Internet, a few clickbait headlines from RV content creators gave the strong impression that Cracker Barrel had changed its corporate policy. It hasn’t.

It is the same as always. First, RVers need permission from the store manager. Second, if local ordinances allow, RVers can overnight there.

Occasionally, a local jurisdiction will change its ordinances and stop overnight camping. That’s what happened that led to the confusing Internet stories.
